Our Logo

Our logo was carefully chosen to reflect the main goal of the Renal Association to promote Nephrology in Mauritius.
The red line emerging from the outline of Mauritius draws a kidney with its urine flow via the ureter. It can also be seen as the lines of haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and exchange with the world Nephrology community.
Declarations
The Renal Association adheres to the following declarations:

The Declaration emphasizes that organ trafficking and transplant tourism should be prohibited because they violate the principles of equity, justice and respect for human dignity. The Declaration asserts that because transplant commercialism targets impoverished and otherwise vulnerable donors, it leads inexorably to inequity and injustice and should also be prohibited.
