Membership of the Association is open to any doctor fully registered with the Medical Council of Mauritius and residing in Mauritius. However, places are limited and the waiting list is long. New memberships will only be considered in the first week of April of each year if there are vacancies.
You do NOT have to be a nephrologist to be a member of the Renal Association. Non-nephrologists can be full members of the Renal Association with voting rights but cannot become a member of the managing committee. Check the rules of the association here.
